Cocoon.  Supporting families to care for babies and young children.

The early years of parenting are often a challenging time and mums and dads are subject to an enormous amount of information and advice about the "best" way to care for their child.  Through Cocoon Parenting Support, Rachel Fuller works with families to find their own right way, supporting parents to meet the needs of their children and themselves.

Rachel Fuller is an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC), Certified Infant Massage Instructor (CIMI) and has undertaken training in  infant sleep, child development and nutrition.
She works part time in a family health service and has her own private practice, providing support to families in their homes with feeding, settling, sleep and the challenges of caring for babies and young children.  Rachel believes all families need evidence-based and up-to-date information so they can make choices that best suit their own situation.  As a mother of four children (including twins) and with more than 15 years supporting families, Rachel understands that children and families are all different and works alongside parents to find their own ‘right way’.
Appointments are available at weekends and in the evenings to accommodate the needs of your family.
Rachel can help with:
  • Breastfeeding advice and guidance
  • Unsettled and high needs babies
  • Sleeping issues
  • Adjusting to parenthood, for fathers and mothers
  • Dealing with conflicting advice and finding what will work for you
  • The challenges of twins
  • Feeding issues, including transition to solids
  • Weaning
  • Separation anxiety
  • The transition to returning to work
  • Infant massage classes
